Hakuna Matata is an initiative by a group of young, dynamic social entrepreneurs & educationists to create an environment of learning for children The belief that interventions need to be designed for early childhood and primary school children, to supplement formal education that the child is exposed to in schools, has led to designing the space and curriculum in a child-directed, child centric manner.

The curriculum at Hakuna Matata has been developed in consistence with our focus on experiential learning that encourages collaboration and provides children an enabling environment to think and work out their own unique strategy with the support of experienced facilitators.

Value points & life-skills are taught through a variety of media (Theater, Art, Play, Music, Movement) to enable children to explore alternative scenarios and find different ways to express social or emotional difficulties. They can learn assertiveness, social skills, leadership qualities and resolving group-conflict through role-play and using the play space as a rehearsal for real-life situations.
