About The Launch Pad 2013-2014 Chennai Business School in No: 48, 100 feet road, taramani link road, Chennai

The Launch Pad is a business plan pitch event which is being organized by Chennai Business School for young entrepreneurs who aspire to start a business venture. The event will be judged by industrial leaders such as Mr.P.K.Mohapatra (Former president & CEO of RPG Group), Mr. K. Krishnan (Former joint President of Bharti Airtel), Mr. J. N. Amrolia (Former Executive Director of Ashok Leyland), Mr. Mohan Menon (Former director of Ogilvy & Mather) and Prof. Sridar Natarajan (Dean of Chennai Business School).

The contestants are requested to form two-member teams. The process then involves the following:

Level 1
This involves the submission of an executive business plan summary by the contesting teams. The summary will be scrutinized by our jury and the top 25 teams will be short-listed for the second level.

Level 2
The short-listed teams will make a detailed presentation in front of the jury. The presentation will be followed by a Q&A session.

Teams will be ranked based on their overall plan, the presentation and their performance in the Q&A session.

Cash prizes will be distributed to the top 3 teams as follows:

•First prize - Rs. 50000
•Second prize - Rs. 30000
•Third prize - Rs. 20000
