About Gur Gyan Parchar Vidyala in Village Meerpur, Post Mahesara,NH24, Gajraula

In 2006 Giani Surinder Singh from New Zealand built a Gurudwara in Meerpur village U.P. to educate sikh values and sikh teachings in a place where alot of families were from sikh background however lost their connection to sikhi without a gurudwara. Reflecting on the success and the presence that the Gurudwara had gained Giani Surinder Singh ji decided to promote sikh lifestyle to the next generation.

Gur Gyan Parchar Vidyala(GGPV) was established in March 2015. The Vidyala provides Food, Accomodation free of cost to students from all back grounds all over India.

GGPV offers a 5 year course teaching Gurbani, Gurbani Kirtan and Sikh History with the aim to provide a career as Granthi/Raagi for unfortunate sikh youths living in poverty in india.

The Sikh Panth Needs to recognise and provide for the less fortunate children suffering in india, Please create awareness of this situation and together we can give back to community.
