About Computer Society of India - UMIT in Usha Mittal Institute of Technology, Juhu, Mumbai

The Computer Society of India is one of the largest professional societies in India with over 1,00,000 members spanning over 72 chapters and 511 student branches all over the country.

The CSI student chapter of Usha Mittal Institute Of Technology was established in the year 1998. The past 15 years stand witness to numerous students of the institute benefit from this association.

The CSI-UMIT chapter also has the distinction of being awarded the best chapter award for 10 consecutive years. The chapter organises a fest, seminars, workshops, industrial visits and CSI-UMIT has set its own benchmark in these events. An annual technical magazine by the students, for the students, called 'Paradigm', is also published by CSI-UMIT. ''Abhivyakti'' is the annual technical festival organised by CSI-UMIT.
