About Ahavah Cakes and Cookies in Bhandup W, Mumbai

We bring you memories when our Mama would bake and the whole neighbourhood would remember they needed to just drop in to say hi. 😊 They couldn’t resist stopping over, while wonderful smells were wafting from our kitchen. How we would fight for the last crumb on the trays and hide little titbits unseen from her eyes. Ahavah means pure love, and that is what we aim to create in our desserts. Here at Ahavah’s Cakes, we bake only for wholesome goodness and for the joy and love, of serving food which changes your day. Food which makes you happy, makes you lose yourself to everything, but the experience of food made with love. We use only the best ingredients just like your mother would at home, when cooking for your family. The proof is in the taste. When you use only the best, the food can’t help being as comforting and delicious. However, we do not concentrate on making purely vegetarian desserts. This is because our recipes are full of traditional homemade deliciousness and if the recipe calls for eggs, we use eggs. Substitutes don’t work for us.
We use only the best ingredients like, unsalted butter from Heritage (Belgium product) or Parsi Dairy farm, Milk from Pride of Cows, the best quality flour, dry fruits carefully selected for its freshness and quality, farm fresh eggs, L'Exclusif Chocolate chips and cooking chocolate, vanilla extract personally extracted by us from pods, natural food flavouring extracts, and (in case we use it, which is rare and only on demand) McCormick or Chefmaster’s food colour.
We only make to order and need at least 1-3 days to deliver, as the quality and time required to select the perfect ingredients and prepare your delivery cannot be compromised. Each item on the menu also provides details about how much time would be required to deliver the order.
Great taste and quality comes with a price which you might feel is higher than the average market price, but we ensure you the cost is not much if you consider the quality of ingredients we use and the taste. For your first order, we will provide you with a discount of 20%, where we forgo our labour and margin, but the next order onwards there are no discounts.
