Report on Abhyudaya 2015

Abhyudaya was an event that enthralled, enticed and seized the attention of every human who had the appetite to learn from head scratching, mind-boggling and exceptionally challenging activities.It made one sway along with the rhythm of an endless euphony. It encapsulated in itself a search to ignite the senses and drove the fire in them to reach the acme where stood the leaders who had the strength to change the world.

Infused with energy, zeal and a never ending hunt for knowledge, students all across the country competed to prove their mettle against all odds and restrictions, like a spaceship that thrusts against the gravity.


This edition of Abhyudaya was flagged off on the 13th February 2015 by Prof.PK Biswas, Director-Academics, Prof.Lakshmi kumar, Program Director and Mr.Satya Saran, executive Director of Sri City campus. Abhyudaya 2015, had participation from around 22 Business Schools including IIM I, IIM Trichy, FMS, NMIMS, KJSom, Wellingkar, XIME, LIBA, GLIM Gurgaon etc. 8 undergrad colleges including SRM, Christ University, Loyola, New College etc. This recent edition of Abhyudaya also witnessed participation from various organizations like KPMG, HCL, Zoho Corp etc.

IFMR campus played host to around 1000 plus people from various parts of the country on these 3 days of extravaganza. The events of this Magnum Opus included Stock Pitching, Holistic Marketing, Auctions, Roleplaying, Negotiations, Business plans and many more. Abhyudaya was also filled with colourful cultural nights which included Rock Band shows, mesmerizing dance performances, fashion shows and DJ gigs.

When Abhyudaya was a stage for the best business minds in the country to lock their horns it also helped in keeping IFMR's sanskriti high.
