About Gramam Thane in , Thane

GRAMAM is a group of like minded people from different walks of life united for a profound cause – to act as the unifying factor amongst the Malayalam speaking community, who lives in and around Ghodbunder Road (Thane, Maharashtra, India)
This voluntary organization is committed to keep alive the cultural heritage and the distinguished customs of Kerala and also make a conscious effort to impart our culture and traditions to our younger generations.
It is very important to safeguard one's cultural heritage especially in this time of globalization. Keeping this in mind various discussions were held and have yielded a number of points of concern and ideas. Foremost was the suggestion that an initiative, a support group, be formed. Such a forum could do much to bring to light, and assist with, issues of concern to our community. This thought process culminated to the formation of GRAMAM.
