Sree Narayana Guru College of Advanced Studies, Vazhukumpara, an initiative of a group of academicians and managed by Sree Narayana Vidyapeetam Educational Trust, Kannara, is a stepping stone to bring to our reach the ever expanding horizons of education. It was Sree Narayana Guru, the great social reformer of Kerala, after whom the college is named, who exhorted us to enrich ourselves through education. The college is situated on five acres of land commanding a panoramic view of the distant western ghats. The green acres are studded with vegetation creating a verdant landscape. Undoubtedly this backdrop of silent cool pasture greenery, far from the din and bustle of towns, provides the requisite ambience for housing Goddess Saraswathi, the Goddess of vidya (knowledge). The new three storey building has been designed to accommodate the various departments of study and research in this Temple of Learning.

The college is Approved by Govt. of Kerala, Affiliated to University of Calicut vide Reg No:7793/2014/Admin Dt 8.8.2014.
