The Hare Krishna Movement is a Non Sectarian Movement meant for reviving our dormant love of Godhead by chanting the holy names of KRSNA, The Supreme Personality of Godhead.
It was started by Lord Sri Krsna himself who imparted the most scientific, practical and perfect knowledge of Bhagvad Gita to his great devotee and friend, Arjuna.
The same knowledge was revived again by Lord Sri Krishna Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, who appeared almost 550 years back in Mayapur(Bengal).

In recent years this movement was spread all over the world to every town and village by His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada, Founder Acarya: International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON). He is the Pure Devotee of Lord Krsna and was Known as the most scientific personality in vedic science. He traveled the globe 14 times (1966-77) to spread the science of Bhagvad Gita and convinced almost all the pioneer scientist of his times. His books are the Law Books to understand the knowledge and science of the Absolute Truth and are read all over the world in many well known universities like Oxford, Cambridge, Harvard, Prinkston etc as TEXT Books.
The movement has recently started his branch in Udaipur, to enlighten the local people.
